➡️FICPI ABC 2026 // Registration is now open!
In addition to meetings of the US Section, FICPI holds a WORLD CONGRESS every three years, attendance of which is restricted to FICPI members. FICPI US holds its own standalone meeting during the WORLD CONGRESS. In addition, FICPI US also holds virtual meetings for all of its members, as well as dinner meetings in various cities as an opportunity for local members to network and hear speakers on current IP topics.
However, OPEN Fora, to which FICPI welcomes colleagues from industry, govermental and legislative bodies and any interested parties, are held in the intervening two years.
The US Section participates with our Canadian and British colleagues to convene combined (so-called “ABC”) meetings every year except for the years in which World Congresses are held. The hosting and country for ABC meetings rotates. The 2026 ABC is being hosted by the U.S. Section.

Recurring Meetings
FICPI International holds a World Congress every three years, for FICPI members only, and an Open Forum in the intervening two years between each World Congress. Open Fora are not restricted to FICPI members and welcome participants representing industry, governmental and legislative bodies and other interested parties.
A tri-partite group consisting of the National Associations of FICPI Canada and FICPI UK, and the National Section of USA, holds an annual FICPI ABC CONFERENCE, to which FICPI members are invited.
